2022 NBA Summer League - July 8th

Yesterday's games left supports with highs and lows but there were two games in specific that caught the attention of basketball fans. They were Warriors VS Knicks & Bulls VS Maverick.



Moses Moody, player of the match racked up a total of 34 points in 13 shots for the Golden State Warriors. Although the match did not go in their favour, losing to the knicks his performance was one for the books. Moses began his basketball journey at Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, he led his team to the Class 7A state title. He then moved on to college basketball where he recorded a career-high of 28 points for the Razorbacks, Moody earned SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC honours. Moody was then selected as the 14th pick in the 2021 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors in 2021. He made his debut in the NBA, coming off with two points and two rebounds in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Moses is one of those players who we saw progressing before our eyes and his basketball future is bright.



Another game to note was the Chicago Bulls VS Dallas Mavericks, although they got off to a rough start in the 4th quarter they picket up the paste. The game went into overtime when both teams tied with 90 points with Simonovic shooting the tieing point. In overtime, Simonovisc shot a 2-pointer to put the Bulls in the lead and showed great defence with numerous blocks. Simonovis racked up a total of 27 points for the Bulls and was named player of the match.
